"It's a pleasure to write in support of Lisa. As the programme lead for comedy and performance at Salford, she took the curriculum by the scruff of its neck and turned this area of writing, teaching and professional performance into a jewel. A consummate team-worker, Lisa's strength is her ability to recognise opportunity and talent and then to work - very hard and with others - to mould this into a finished product. Working with Lisa taught me to take comedy seriously. She will go on to show how comedy can not only entertain but can also humanize and mediate some of the difficult and complex fractures of our times. At Salford, Lisa has taught on all levels of Undergraduateprogrammes, which include Media and Performance and Theatre and Performance Practice. She has used her professionalexperience in Screen and Radio acting and scriptwriting to the teaching and leadership of modules in this area. On these modules, Lisa has also managed hourly-paid academics, who contribute to delivery, and draws on her professional experienceand contacts to embed professional masterclasses and workshops into the curriculum, which provide out students with invaluableindustry knowledge and skills development in comedy, screen acting and writing.
Lisa is an enthusiastic and versatile academic whose expertise also stretches into areas such as Applied and Forum theatre. She led modules in Theatre acting, which covered a range of practitioners, including Brecht, Artaud and Boal. She has also supervised a range of final year research projects and acted as a personal tutor for comedy students for several years.
Lisa regularly receives good feedback from students in formal Module Reviews, who appreciate her personable approach and her enthusiasm for the subjects she teaches, as well as her support of their academic and professional development. She has substantial experience in all aspects of academic work –including module design and development, marking and moderation, and observes the University’s quality assurance processes in the completion of required module administration.

Spoken word workshops 2023
I have had the pleasure of knowing Lisa Moore for over 20 years, initially as my media and film teacher at uni of Salford, and more recently collaborating with her at Alchemy arts on our artful paths project. Her ability to engage young girls -especially from BAME backgrounds through her spoken word workshops was extraordinary .She provided them with a powerful platform to express their views on making our city streets, safer and more inclusive.
her diverse talents as an actor, Director, producer, script, writer performance, poet, educational consultant, and executive film producer, are evident in her work
Lisa is a true asset to any project - combining creativity with a deep commitment toward social impact
I wholeheartedly recommend her.

Lisa is a great person to have teaching practical skills and workshops and also as a member of a teaching team. I have really valued her support, experience and approach in the work she has done on courses I have convened at The University of Manchester.
